This watercolor painting features a vibrant hummingbird captured in mid light. It is an expressive blending of shades of gold, brown, purple, and red to highlight the birds’ iridescent feathers. The hummingbird’s eye is large and striking giving it a lively presence. Its wings are outstretched, with dynamic brushstrokes that convey motion and energy. The background is left mostly white, allowing the colors and details of the hummingbird to stand out boldly. The overall effect is both delicate and vivid, celebrating the beauty and agility of this tiny bird.
