HANDMADE FELT ORNAMENTS

Storybook Studio’s felt Holiday Collection features handcrafted ornaments and sesonal décor. These fair-trade decorations are made from vibrant wool, bringing whimsical charm and cozy warmth. Each item is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Nepal. They are working family owned workshops following fair trade practices. These ornaments are made from 100% wool and are free from harsh chemicals. This year, a portion of the profits from the purchase of these goods go to support the wellbeing of the artisan community.

ROPED ORNMENTS

These are one of a kind Christmas ornaments made in our studio from old Indian Tribal Kantha Quilts. Once old sare materials have new life and new love and will adorn your tree with vibrant glory. It was important for us to keep the intricate handstitching since that was a labor of love when we re-purposed theblankets that have sort of a Bohemian flare. We added our own touch by using jute rope to surround the ornament and this is how they got the name “Roped Ornaments”. We live in rural Louisiana and wanted to showcase an ornament for our local flavor at “Old Farmers’ Day”. For us, nothing says, “Love the Earth” more than using repurposed materials and natural fabrics. We hope you love them as much as we do!
